From bare walls to your favourite room
Your room starts out run-down on purpose. With the coins you earn by reading, you repair damage, design walls and floors and extend the room.
- Hundreds of furniture and decor pieces in styles like Rustic, Cute, Goth and Luxury
- Books stand on the shelf as real books. They tip over and stack
- Your own character with hairstyles and clothes, plus a cat or a dog
- Badges for milestones hang on the wall as trophies
Rain outside, a fire inside
Outside the window, the time of day, the season and the real weather change along with you. If you like, add the sound of rain or a crackling fire.
- Daily goal, a streak with a grace day and statistics on your reading time
- After reading, a summary shows what earned you how many coins
- Coins come only from real reading in the app, not from tapping around

The community is optional. You sign in with a code sent by email, there is no password.

How Grialis is built
Grialis is a private project from Munich. These points apply from day one.
No ads
No banners, no videos and no rewards for watching ads.
No tracking
No analytics tools, no user profiles, no advertising ID.
Your data stays with you
Books, notes and your room are stored on your device. Only with an account is there an extra backup, without the books.

Almost everything can be unlocked by reading. If you want to get ahead faster, you can buy coins.
